Visual Storytelling
In this project we were to come up with a short story with any prompt. Our group decided to do a comedy holiday short about a visually challenged Elf who in the midst of getting off work, loses his glasses and gets a little bit lost. We learned how to develop our story through weeks of thumbnailing, storyboarding, then editing into a final animatic.

Editing Project
In this assignment each group was given the same storyline, and were told to create our own story beats and storyboard that fit within the duration of 1 minute.

'The story revolves around a poorly dressed father and son in the midst of a festival, the son gets lost while the father stops by a stall and the father goes into a state of panic looking for his son before ultimately finding his shoe in an alley way.'
​
We worked together to discuss the flow, the shots and the character. I contributed in storyboards, character design, animatic and sound design.

Motion Graphics Projects
TXT - CROWN; Motion Graphics Music Video
This is the first project where we're introduced to motion graphics, exploring the software itself and learning different techniques to animate a music video. We could be as creative as we wanted to, so I've tried out many different effects, masking, character rigging and animating to create this final short music video.
NCT 127 - End To Start; Mixed Media Music Video
In this project we could create anything we wanted so I opted to make a music video of a song that I really liked at that time. The lyrics reflect the journey of life, failures and successes, beginning of the end and moving on. It felt very motivational so I tried to interpret the lyrics as best I can visually in this project. It's a mixed media music video, combining filmed footage, motion graphics and drawn animation.
